I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are racing past, here we are at the end of October.  The nights are drawing in, and we are well and truly thinking about being cosy and warm.  It’s half term week in the UK and all around me I see excited families around London exploring museums, parks and attractions. Matthew is 17 months old now and he is a bundle of energy - the Transport Museum in Covent Garden is his favourite place to spend the afternoon.

Matthew never sits still! With each stage he enters it informs my design process further.  Whilst still focusing on traditional silhouettes, similar to what myself and my brothers wore growing up; I want to create something that allows children the freedom to be children.  These outfits are not just for ‘best’ they are also for weekends spent exploring forests and beaches and building forts in the living room.

I feel that more than ever we all have a strong desire to hold on to the important, and simple things in life.  After missing out on important time with family, we are all seeking to make up for lost time with our loved ones.  After precious moments lost between grandparents and grandchildren it seems all the more important to preserve the innocence of childhood, and for me to produce clothing that not only lasts a season, but is handed down through siblings and generations.  Pieces that stand the test of time design and quality wise.

We have recently launched our “Tartan Dreams” capsule - with beautiful burgundy and navy tartans in bloomers, dresses, shorts and skirts. Pair these with our darling, super soft (and machine washable) 100% merino fair isle knits.
